A new drawing / Un dibujo nuevo.

A new drawing started today, a very small one from a rather difficult photo!  I will not post updates until I know that the person is happy with it!  Next is a nice one of 2 dogs to do. / Un nuevo dibujo comenzado hoy, uno muy pequeño de una foto bastante difícil! No voy a publicar actualizaciones hasta que sepaque la persona es feliz con él! Lo siguiente es una agradable dedos perros que hacer.

Sorraias in harness drawing finished. / Dibujo de Sorraias en arnés terminado.

Yesterday and today I have been finishing this drawing.  It has taken a few hours!   I am pleased to have now finished it, the next thing is to take it to the framers and get it protected under glass in a frame.  Size of drawing:  28" x 19"  (71cm x 48cm) approximately / Ayer y hoy me han acabado este dibujo. Se ha tardado un par de horas! Me complace que ahora termina, el siguiente paso es llevarlo a los autores y conseguir que protegidos por vidrio en un marco. Tamaño del dibujo: 28"  x 19"  (71cm x 48cm) aproximadamente

Right, this is the kit I use for pencil drawings. I have deliberatelly not re sized the photo down so you can see clearly what I use.

Daler Rowney Heavyweight cartridge paper.

Derwent Graphic pencils: 2B, 5B, 9B and an F (but can't find that at the moment!).

Metal sharpener.

Blue tack (next to sharpener)

Cotton wool (all mucky next to pencils) and last but not least,

Pencil extenders to extend the use of the pencil right down to the last centimetre! (shown holding the 5 B pencil in the middle.)

Derecha, este es el kit que utilizo para dibujos a lápiz. Hedeliberatelly no volver tamaño de la foto abajo para que pueda verclaramente lo que yo uso.
Daler Rowney pesado cartucho de papel.
Los lápices Gráfico: 2B, 5B, 9B y una F (pero no puede encontrarque en este momento!).
Sacapuntas de metal.
Tachuela azul (junto a los sacapuntas)
Algodón (todos sucio al lado de los lápices) y por último pero no menos importante,
Extensores Lápiz para extender el uso del lápiz hasta el último centímetro! (aparece sosteniendo el lápiz 5 B, en el centro.)

My Studio / mi estudio

Here are some photos of my studio (when it was tidy!).  You will see an assortment of things from Mr Moss on his bed under the table, a horses skull, easels, posters from events and exhibitions on the walls and a few boxes of rubbish.  The view is taken from the door of my studio.  / Aquí están algunas fotos de mi estudio (cuando fue ordenado!). Usted verá una variedad de cosas del señor Moss en su cama debajo de la mesa, un cráneo de caballo, caballetes, carteles de eventos y exposiciones en las paredes y unas cuantas cajas de basura. La vista está tomada de la puerta de mi estudio.

I did a bit of this yesterday but could not get a decent photograph of it. So really this is day 13 and not 12!  I finally feel like I am getting somewhere with it now! / Hice un poco de esto ayer, pero no pudo conseguir una foto decente de él. Así que en realidad este es el día 13 y no 12!  Finalmente me siento como si estuviera llegando a alguna parte con él ahora!

Bad horse at the racing / Caballo malo en la carrera

I had been watching this horse for a while trying to get his rider off.   He succeeded but the rider got back on and then the horse ran off with him before the starter went!  He did eventually race but came nowhere in the results!  /  Yo había estado observando a este caballo por un tiempo tratando de conseguir su jinete. Tuvo éxito, pero el piloto consiguió de nuevo y entonces el caballo se escapó con él antes de que el arranque se fue! Hizo carrera, pero finalmente llegó en ninguna parte de los resultados!

New acquisition! / Nueva adquisición

Ok, so I know I should not have done this but I could not resist this little elephant in solid bronze!  Made by a friend of mine - Deborah Burt, he is 1 of an edition of 100.  He can be finished in any patina.   I think he is absolutely lovely and I have him standing on top of my computer screen at the moment.  He is just 10cm high!  To see more of Deborah's works go to http://deborahburt-sculpture.co.uk/   I hope to get on a bit more with the drawing of the Sorraias this weekend, so keep watching for updates.  In the meantime, I have been busy doing a very boring job of backing up photos onto cd and onto the hard drives!  It is taking a long time but I am nearly finished now!  /
 Ok, así que sé que no debería haber hecho esto, pero yo no podíar esistirse a este pequeño elefante de bronce sólido! Realizado porun amigo mío - Deborah Burt, que es una de 1 edición de 100. Él puede ser terminado en cualquier pátina. Creo que es absolutamente encantador y le he parado en la parte superior de la pantalla de mi ordenador en este momento. Él es sólo 10 cm de altura! Para ver más trabajos de Deborah ir a   http://deborahburt-sculpture.co.uk/    Espero conseguir un poco más con el dibujo de la Sorraias este fin de semana, así que atentos a las actualizaciones. Mientras tanto, he estado ocupado haciendo un trabajo muy aburrido de copias de seguridad de fotos en CD y en los discos duros! Se está tomando mucho tiempo, pero estoy a punto de terminar ya!

I have been busy backing up photos from discs onto the hard drive on the computer over the last few days.  I still have many more to do. I came across these photos that I took a couple of years ago of a friends Arabian Horse stud,  it was early spring and they were rather woolly and mucky but such pretty heads!  /  He estado muy ocupado copias de seguridad de fotos de los discos en el disco duro en el equipo durante los últimos días. Todavía tengo mucho más que hacer. Me encontré con estas fotos que tomé un par de años atrás de un poste amigos caballo árabe, fue la primavera y que eran más bien lanudo y sucio, pero como jefes bonito!

I have had no time to do any drawing over the last couple of days. I hope to get back to it tomorrow with no interruptions!  /  No he tenido tiempo para hacer cualquier dibujo en el último par de días. Espero volver a mañana sin interrupciones!
